“...It’s raining... should I just cancel the date?” The ex-delinquent, Tendou Jin thought as he checked his wristwatch. He had arrived in the promised place, Cafe Alucard, since an hour ago or so. Truthfully, an hour ago wasn’t even close to the appointed time, but he’s all giddy to meet her, the person he loved  the most, so much that he couldn’t stand still at home.

The only problem is, it rained now, and he really doubted it would let out any time soon—at least, not at the appointed time. Tendou would never let any harm—or sickness—befall her, especially if he could prevent it! That’s why, he contemplated on cancelling the date, even if it would disappoint him greatly. He had wanted to see the bright smile of the girl whom taught him that there are people who accepted him as who he was; people who trust him, and doesn’t give him different treatment.

“Is she on her way already? I hope she isn’t...” He thought, as he tapped on the wooden table. If she’s on her way, then there’s a huge chance of her getting caught in the rain...

The door bell rang just then, pulling him out of his reverie. He immediately turned his head towards the door, and what he saw was his fear... the love of his life, being all wet.

He immediately stood up from his seat, and said in worry, “Are you alright?!”

The light red haired girl chuckled—Tendou really is a worrywart. “I’m alrigh—achoo!”

Tendou’s face paled, “Are you sick?!”

“I’m not!” The girl replied, almost immediately, “I’m just a bit cold.”

“Well, of course! You’re all wet, after all... you didn’t bring an umbrella?”

“I was going to, but it looked really sunny earlier...”

“Do you want to change first?” Tendou asked, as he looked at the female’s clothes, all drenched in the cold rain, “I could go and buy you some clothes!”

“N-no, you don’t have to do that!” She replied hastily, “I don’t want to trouble you.”

At that, Tendou couldn’t help but to ruffle the shorter girl’s hair, “...Cute.”

“M-mou! I’m not cute...” She retaliated, “And moreover...”

“Moreover?”

“I’m afraid that you’ll choose weird clothes.” She said, her tone joking. Of course she knew Tendou wouldn’t buy anything weird for her to wear, but teasing Tendou was always number one entertainment! Especially since it also serves as revenge. Tendou teased her a lot when it comes to her behavior, after all.

At that, Tendou used a mock-hurt, half-offended tone, “Are you implying I’m a lewd person...?!”

“Of course not, Tendou-kun,” The girl said, as she kissed Tendou’s cheeks—and, just as she expected, Tendou’s cheeks reddened, albeit a little. “You’re my Tendou-kun, after all.”

“S-stop t—“ Tendou stopped mid-sentence, and then hastily said, “—I’ll just go buy you some clothes!”

The mischievous girl smiled in satisfaction as she watched his boyfriend marching outside, muttering incomprehensible things along the way.

“Ah, won’t he get wet, too, if he just walk out like that?”
